How do you work out the price for my gold?+
We test the purity (carat) of your gold, weigh it accurately, and price it against the current gold market. You'll see exactly how we arrived at the offer.
How will I be paid?+
Payment is instant — in cash or by bank transfer, whichever you prefer.
Is there any obligation to sell?+
None at all. Valuations are free and if you'd rather keep your items, you simply take them home.
Do you buy broken or damaged jewellery?+
Yes. Broken chains, single earrings and damaged rings are all valued for their precious metal content.
Do you only buy gold?+
No — we also buy silver, coins, medals, watches, costume jewellery, paintings, collectables and antiques.
Which areas do you cover?+
We're based in Wickham and visit sellers by appointment everywhere between Southampton, Winchester and Portsmouth, including Fareham, Eastleigh, Gosport, Bishop's Waltham and the Meon Valley. We also regularly travel further afield — Dorset, Wiltshire, West Sussex and beyond — so wherever you are, just ask.
Can I just drop in?+
We work by appointment only and come to you. Call 07850 111800 to book a home visit at a time that suits you.
Will you come to my home?+
Yes — most valuations are done at your home, by appointment. If you'd rather not have visitors, we can instead arrange an appointment at the Chesapeake Mill in Wickham. Either way, your valuables never leave your hands unless you decide to sell.
